1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1 This Privacy Policy uses the same terminology and abbreviations as defined in our
Terms and Conditions document. This Policy governs the collection, use and storage of
information about Users collected through the use of the Platform.

1.2 The information on Users is divided into personally identifiable and non-personally
identifiable information depending on whether information can identify the User as a specific
person.

2. COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

2.1 We may obtain some of your personal information in order to provide our Services. The
information we collect is necessary to provide our Services, and we shall not collect any
information which is not required by the nature of our Services. We may collect some of the
following personal Information:
 First and last name
 E-mail address
 approximate geo location
 Google Account ID
(A) NAME
2.2 When you register through your Google account we will access the information about
your name. We will only use this information to create an account for you and to address you
whenever we contact you as well as to inform other users on who shared a file with them. The
legal basis for processing of this information is contractual obligation.

(B) EMAIL ADDRESS
2.3 We will process your email address on a basis of your consent or for delivering our
Services depending on the situation. We will collect your email address in the following cases:
– When you register an account with us. We will process your email address to create
and facilitate an account for you and to send you notifications about your account such as when
we change our privacy policy, or if there is a data breach. Account is necessary to access our
Services and if you do not allow us to process your email address for this purpose you will not
be able to access these Services.
– When you subscribe to receive notifications. We will collect your email address when
you subscribe to receive notifications from us. We will only use your email address to send you
information about the upcoming promotions or other matters relating to the Screentape Services.
There will be a consent box during your registration by which you can provide your consent to
have us collect, store, and process your email address in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
– When you contact us. We will collect your email address whenever you contact us
through our email. Whenever we collect your email address this way, we will only use it in order
to respond to your inquiry.

(C) APPROXIMATE GEO LOCATION
2.4 We will process information about your approximate geo location as provided to us by
Google Analytics so that we can better optimize the content provided to you and to help analyze
and improve our Platform. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest.

(D) GOOGLE ACCOUNT ID
2.5 We will collect your Google Account ID in the interest of providing our Services. When
you choose to register with your Google Account, we will collect your Google Account ID to

create an account for you, to connect your name and email with the right ID, and to connect the
Platform with your Google Drive. We do not collect your third-party service password. When you
register through your Google Account, you will be referred to the Google consent dialogue box,
after which, if the consent is provided, we will collect your name, e-mail address, and
information which is publicly available on your profile in order to create and facilitate your
account and user profile.

(E) APP PERMISSIONS
2.6 When you register to use the Platform you will need to provide certain permission to the
Platform with regard to your Google Drive. Since the files created through the Platform are
automatically stored on your connected Google Drive and you can use the Platform to manage
those created files we need permission to see, edit, create and delete your Google Drive files.
This is a core functionality of the Platform. We do not monitor your files in your Google Drive,
but in order for the Platform to perform this access is required. You can manage your access
preferences in your Google Account settings at any time. If the access rights are revoked you
will not be able to use the Platform.

(F) GENERAL
2.7 Some Services will not be available to you if you do not provide requested information.
We may keep records of any questions, complaints or compliments made by you and the
response if any. Whenever you contact us, we shall collect any information which you chose to
provide. We shall store and use this information only for the purpose of responding to your
inquiries. Information contained within the inquiry, free from any personally identifiable
information, will be stored on our servers for the purpose of improving our Services and
providing the best customer support possible.

2.8 We do not sell or rent personal information to any Third-Party. We use collected
information for our internal and marketing purposes, as necessary by the nature of the Services,
and only in accordance with this Privacy Policy. In some instances, we are obliged to comply
with court orders and government requests and provide information or parts of it to authorized
bodies. Some personal information is transferred to Merchants for payment processing and in
accordance with section H of this Privacy Policy.

2.9 We have implemented security procedures and measures in order to ensure appropriate
protection of the information we process, against any misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure
or modification.

2.10 We acknowledge that the safety of your Information is one of the highest priorities and
therefore only authorised processors have access to your information. Although we take all
appropriate measures in respect to keeping your information secure, you understand that no
data security measures in the world can offer 100% protection. If we ever find or suspect a
personal data breach we will without delay, within seventy-two (72) hours after becoming aware
of it, notify the appropriate supervisory authority about the breach and Users where necessary.

2.11 The processing of the information is being performed automatically, without human
intervention. However, whenever you contact us through email, the Information within the email
will be handled and processed by a real person in order to provide you with the answer to the
email.

2.12 Users may request access to and modification of personal information and the exercise
of the right to object. Such requests are submitted to contact@screentape.io.

3. CHILDREN PRIVACY

3.1 The services are intended for a general audience and are not targeted at children. We
take children’s online safety very seriously, and if we ever learn that the Information collected
belongs to a child, we will immediately remove any such information. If you are younger than 18
you are not allowed to register or use the Platform.

4. COLLECTION AND USE OF NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION
4.1 The Platform utilises Google Analytics for statistical purposes. Google Analytics is set in
a way that it does not collect your IP address nor any other personally identifiable information.
We are only interested in how the Platform is being used so that we can improve, modify and
adapt the Platform to best suit user’s needs. More information on how Google Analytics works
and how you can opt out of its use can be found on:

5. STORAGE AND TRANSFER OF INFORMATION
5.1 Personally identifiable information about you is generally stored on your device.
Whenever the Information is necessary for the account verification purposes such Information is
stored on your device. However, if you contact us we may collect your email address and other
information which you provide on our local servers hosted in the territory of EU.

5.2 If you register an account with us we will process your Information for as long as you
have an active account. If you contact us we may keep information from our communication for
up to 1 year in our backup in order to maintain the integrity of our backup storage data as well
as in order to address any appeals or requests pursuant to your request.

6. USER’S RIGHTS
6.1 User may request to:
 Obtain confirmation if your Information is processed, access Information about you that
we had stored as well as supplementary information.
 Receive a copy of Information on you that is held by us in a structured, commonly used
and machine-readable format.
 Correct your Information.
 Have your Personal Information deleted.
 Object to the processing of Information by us.
 Restrict the processing of your Information by us.
 File a complaint with a supervisory authority.
6.2 These rights might be limited if they are subject to Screentape’s own legitimate interests
and regulatory requirements.

7. CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY
7.1 We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy at any time. The current version of
Privacy Policy is available on the Site, indicating the effective date. You are encouraged to
periodically check our Privacy Policy.
